A dog carrier?
4LazyLegs is a Dutch brand, based in Amsterdam. Since 2012, we have focused on developing and selling baby carriers specifically for pets. The idea originated from our mother brand Minimonkey, a specialist in baby carriers. Customers started using the baby carriers for their dogs – and so the idea for 4LazyLegs was born. Founder Margot Visser enjoys managing the brand from Amsterdam, working with everyone to their strengths.

Which carrier is right for my pet?
We have three models:
- Canvas cotton – soft and durable, for pets weighing 3-15 kg
- Canvas XS – smaller version, ideal for 1-4 kg (small dogs, kittens, bunnies)
- The Basic – polyester version of the Canvas, easy to clean, for 3-15 kg
How do I put my pet in the carrier?
- Pull the cord at the inner edge to reduce the opening
- Hold your pet with one hand and pull the bag open with the other
- Lower your pet into the bag
- Tighten the cord on the outside edge
- Attach the strap inside to your pet’s collar or harness
Tip: practice sitting down first, with treats included, before standing up.
Is the baby carrier washable?
Yes. The baby carrier is machine washable at 40°C on a delicate or wool wash setting. Preferably use a laundry bag.
What is the maximum carrying weight?
The Canvas and Basic have a maximum carrying weight of 15 kg. The Canvas XS is suitable for pets of 1-4 kg.
Can I use the baby carrier on a bicycle or in the car?
No. Using the carrier on a bicycle, in the car, while cooking or while exercising is not allowed and can be dangerous for you and your pet.
How does the safety clip work?
The patented safety clip attaches the strap inside the bag to your pet’s collar or harness. This prevents him or her from climbing out of the bag. Check the clip regularly for wear and tear.
